Tour Plan
Day 01: Haridwar- Rishikesh -Dehradun to Guptkashi
Your 2 Dham Yatra begins with an early morning pickup from Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun, followed by a scenic drive through the Garhwal Himalayas. En route, you witness the beautiful river confluences at Devprayag and Rudraprayag, where holy rivers meet amidst breathtaking landscapes. The journey continues along the Mandakini River to Guptkashi, a sacred town associated with Lord Shiva. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight in preparation for the Kedarnath trek.
Day 02: Guptkashi to Kedarnath
After an early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag and proceed to Gaurikund, the base point of the Kedarnath trek. From here, you begin the 18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple, either on foot or by pony, palki, or helicopter (optional). The trek offers mesmerizing views of snow-clad peaks, waterfalls, and lush valleys. By evening, reach Kedarnath, visit the temple surroundings, attend the evening aarti if time and weather permit, and stay overnight near the temple.
Day 03: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Start the day with early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, experiencing the divine and peaceful atmosphere of this high-altitude shrine. After darshan and pooja, trek back down to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. The rest of the day is free for relaxation after the demanding trek. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Guptkashi to Joshimath
Post breakfast, depart Guptkashi for Joshimath, passing through scenic mountain roads and deep river valleys. En route, stop at Vishnuprayag, the confluence of the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers. The drive offers continuous views of Himalayan landscapes and charming hill settlements. Upon reaching Joshimath, check in at the hotel, relax, and enjoy a peaceful evening followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05: Joshimath to Badrinath and back to Joshimath
Early in the morning, drive to Badrinath Temple, one of the most important Char Dham shrines. Take a holy dip in Tapt Kund before temple darshan. After seeking blessings, visit nearby attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and the origin of the Saraswati River. In the evening, return to Joshimath for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: Joshimath to Haridwar - Rishikesh - Dehradun Departure
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey to Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun. The long drive back is filled with scenic views of rivers, forests, and mountains, allowing you to reflect on the spiritual experiences of the yatra. Upon arrival at your drop point, the 2 Dham Yatra concludes with divine memories and blessings.
